It’s now time to get the center I beam mounted into place…
Hopefully, it’s cut to the correct length.

I beam being moved into position for installation…
Almost there… The ceiling rafters of the Carriage House/Garage had some sag, which was preventing the new I beam from being easily moved into position. We had to use some 4x4s and jacks to push the ceiling up, a little bit, in order to get the I beam into it’s correct position.
Finally there…
The new I beam was then secured using joist hangars.
