With winter quickly approaching, it’s time to finally get the new Rain Diverter installed. It took me a while to get back to this project because I had to wait on the new Eavestrough hanger brackets to arrive. Also, I was so tired of being on the ladder while working on the Upper Siding that I really didn’t feel like getting back up there. But, I just set aside the day, and got it done…

Here, the new Eavestrough brackets were used to get the Eavestrough back into place. I had to do this part first because it required getting under the second course of singles, which the new Rain Diverter sits on top of…

The new Rain Diverter mounted with the slight slope. I chose to just use roofing cement to mount the Diverter, rather than using nails. The less new holes in the roof, the less chance of water getting in….
