April showers bring May flowers, and also leaks in the roof…
It was time to look into getting a new roof. We ended up hiring a local independent guy to do the job. And, so began the long, arduous process of putting on a roof. They say hindsight is 20/20. But, we probably should have gotten our first clue when they started out by stacking hundreds of pounds of shingle bundles on the breezeway roof (which was already in pretty bad condition). The roofer estimated that the new roof should be completed in two weeks.
Before the roofers actually got started, we were able to snap some pictures of the current condition of the roof. Above is the east side.
