This spring, the weather has been relentless. We have had wild temperature swings, and along with that, extremely high winds, sometimes for several days at a time…
Today the winds have been really strong, with gust between 50 and 60 mph, so the entire house has been creaking. I happened to look out of the dining room window, and saw some shingles on the patio. That’s usually NOT a good sign…
The winds have been howling from the southwest, so there are some shingles on the west side of the roof that look damaged…
And on the south side of the roof, I see where the shingles are missing, and still being ripped off by the winds…
The wind is doing a wonderful job of removing shingles, a little bit at a time. The bad part is, the winds aren’t supposed to let up for the next couple of days, so I can’t get up there and fix it until it does. This weather is literally driving me insane…
