With the original fascia boards removed, I was able to get a better look inside. There is absolutely zero insulation, which allows me to see all the way into the bays that run between the ceiling and second floor. The first image is what’s left of a giant hornets nest. While I have this area all wide open, I figure it’s a good time to put some insulation into the top of the bay window roof. So, after a trip to Menard’s, I’m back on track…

It was quite the task to push the insulation into the bays, but it’s now complete. Hopefully, this will help cut down on the ice cold drafts during the winter…
