This area of the roof is opposite the downspout area. The decking is pretty rotted near the edge…
After removing the rotted area, I’ll need to replace this much decking…

The rot seems to go up the entire rake of this part of the roof. I don’t want to keep tearing off shingles because there’s rain in the forecast tonight. This is VERY disheartening, since we also have roofers coming in the morning to begin tear off and we were pretty sure the decking would be fine. Now, we’re probably looking at having to buy new decking…
