After drying over night, the drawer interiors got a final sanding with fine sandpaper…
The interior finish of the drawers is now complete…
To tackle the outside, I will be using Bondo to fill in the knotholes…
Bondo, mixed and applied…
I used a chisel to shave the Bondo down a bit…
Then, finished up with the hand sander…
The sides, ready for paint…
Rather than leave the sides as plain wood, I decided to paint them using the accent color of the Kitchen…
First coat of paint applied…
After the first coat of paint was dry, it got a quick sanding to smooth out any graining that was raised…
Second coat of paint applied…
After the second coat of paint was dry, it got another sanding…
Then, a third coat of paint was applied…
The drawers now will be left to dry over night…
