Antique Mortise Lock

This is an antique mortise lock made by the Corbin Hardware Company c.1895. The style is Eastlake “Ceylon.” Lock is fully functional and includes a working skeleton key. It’s in good condition, cosmetically, with only minimal scuffing on the brass faceplate. I don’t believe it’s been cleaned or polished, so it still has the original patina. The black paint on the lock housing is flaking off.
