Foyer – Before

The view of the front door from within the foyer.  The walls were covered in a slight texture and painted plain white when we moved in. The woodwork is faux-painted to look like oak and then that was stained with a dark stain.  The stairs themselves are covered in beige carpet.

View from the second flight of stairs down to the door that leads to the parlor.

View from the second landing down to the door that leads to the dining room.

The “tall” wall.

The wall above the second flight and landing.

The wall and window at the top of the stairs.  Notice how all of the woodwork upstairs is painted gloss white.

View from the third flight up to the door leading to bedroom 1.

View of the railing on the upper landing.
