I’m not sure why, but it appears that we took no photos during the process of cutting, staining, finishing or installing the crown molding.  Anyway, here are the finished photos.

We thought we were finished with “phase 1,” but we decided to add some crown molding to the parlor.  so, it’s now known as “phase 1.1″.

The new paint we chose is a deep burgundy. Cutting in the edges. Painting completed.  Makes the fireplace stand out a little better than that horrid wallpaper. East wall. Tower walls. West wall. This completes “phase 1″ of the restoration … Continue reading →
